As we begin 2021 still in the middle of a global pandemic how can we continue to take care of our physical and mental health?

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week evidence-based course where studies have shown that participants can experience an increase in well-being and a reduction in anxiety and depression. Mindfulness practices promote compassion and empathy and reduce loneliness and isolation and overall mindfulness can help us to become more resilient and able to cope with change and uncertainty.

Some comments from previous course participants:

“I stayed on the course because I found the weekly group practice was very helpful and the meditations were great.”

“I have been able to be more compassionate with myself and more aware of negative self-talk.”

“I’ve learnt the value of being in the present moment, and how this can help to reduce stress”

“The zoom platform worked really well. It had the added benefits of not having to travel.”
