Practicing Self-care in Times of Difficulty

With Jackie Carrol

Saturday 11th April 9.30am - 5.00pm

Hosted by Derek

Whether we are working from home and learning to share our space with others, living alone and unable to visit friends or family, taking care of a loved one or working on the front-line providing support and care for others our meditation practice can help and support us. In this day of practice we will explore through mindfulness, insight meditation and compassion how we can take care of ourselves and others when we feel overwhelmed by feelings of fear and anxiety or guilt. There will be guided meditations, sitting and walking with a chance for questions and discussion at the end of the day.

Jackie will be leading this workshop from a house shared with her family, and will have to work around that, helped by Derek, the manager/host for the workshop.
