Harmonzing Body and Mind with the Breath

A one day meditation and 

foundation training workshop 

with Brian Hickey 

Brian has been practicing meditation for ten years, including a period at Chithurst Buddhist Monastery, and has been teaching for three years. He is also a qualified trainer in Foundation Training which uses decompression breathing as part of a series of body weight exercises that reverse the effects of modern life by re-balancing the muscular system and taking the load away from the joints. 

This workshop will explore how to combine the two practices so to work both on the mind and body. 

It is suitable for both those experienced and those relatively new to meditation. It is particularly of use to anyone with back problems or other issues with their posture. It is free, with everyone bringing a contribution to shared lunch
