Cultivating Awareness through Body, Breath and Meditation

This day of Satyananda yoga and Buddhist meditation will combine physical postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation to support the cultivation of awareness. We can use movement of the body, the breath and meditation objects to bring us into awareness, into the here and now, into the present moment. Combining both yoga and meditation can help us to bring ease to the body and stillness and spaciousness to the mind. The day will be held in noble silence.

Satyananda yoga is a gentle form of yoga, which will be suitable for all levels of experience and all body types. Some meditation experience is recommended as there will be sitting meditation sessions of up to 45 minutes.

Jacinta is a fully certified yoga instructor trained with Satyananda Yoga Ireland and accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga. She also practices Buddhist meditation in the Thai Forest tradition.

There will be an opportunity to leave a donation for the teacher at the end. Everyone brings a contribution to a shared lunch. To book a place write to teachnat@gmail.com.
